FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE PAN AFRICAN BUSINESS FORUM

Subject: The Pan African Business Forum Calls For Unity And Cooperation In Postelection South Africa – 2024

The Pan African Business Forum (PABF) congratulates the people of South Africa on their participation in
the democratic process and the successful completion of the national elections. We acknowledge the
significant shift in the political landscape, which presents both opportunities and challenges for the
country’s future.

As the election results indicate a need for coalition governance, we urge all political parties to prioritize the
nation’s interests and work collaboratively to address the socio-economic challenges facing South Africa. We
believe that a united and cooperative approach will foster a more favorable business environment, drive
economic growth, and improve the lives of all citizens.

Key Concerns:

  • Economic Recovery: We stress the importance of implementing policies that promote economic growth,
    job creation, and infrastructure development.
  • Political Stability: A stable government is crucial for attracting investment, ensuring policy consistency, and maintaining social cohesion.
  • Social Inclusion: We advocate for inclusive economic growth that addresses poverty, inequality, and social injustices.

Call to Action:

The Pan African Business Forum (PABF) appeal to all political parties to:

  • Engage in constructive dialogue and negotiations to form a coalition government that serves the nation’s
    best interests.
  • Prioritize economic recovery, political stability, and social inclusion in their policy agenda.
  • Collaborate with the private sector to leverage resources, expertise, and innovative solutions for
    sustainable development.

Conclusion:

The Pan African Business Forum remains committed to supporting South Africa’s growth and development.
We offer our expertise and resources to facilitate dialogue and collaboration between political parties,
government, and the private sector. Together, we can build a brighter future for all South Africans.
